Scheme F

Scheme F

This scheme is used to prevent access to the disconnect switch enclosures while the breaker is closed.

Initial Condition: Breaker #1 is closed with key "A" captive in its respective key interlock. Switch #1 and #2 enclosures are locked closed with no keys present in their respective key interlocks. The 3-key transfer interlock has two "B" keys captive in its secondary cylinder positions.

Gaining access to the disconnect switch enclosures: Open and lock breaker #1 thereby releasing the "A" key. Deposit and turn the "A" key in the 3-key transfer interlock to obtain the "B" keys. Use the "B" keys to unlock the access enclosures. Reverse to restore the initial condition.
